Jobs
Hey all, been a couple months since I last posted. Not doing very well with updating more often am I? I shall just have to try harder! -Determined to be as determined as Tohru Honda in Fruits Basket-
Any who, nothing much has been going on. I've gone to a temp agency in hope of finding a job. I would really like to get my life going for me, but seeing as everything resolves around the dreaded green thing we call cash, it's difficult without the job.
Now jobs in general....
There's one thing that especially annoys me to no end. Most jobs would like for a person to have a certain amount of time (be that years or months etc...) experience for them to hire you. For graduating high school students or people who aren't able to go to college for a certain job to learn those skills, it's hard. I mean how the hell can you get experience if no one will hire you in the first place? Seriously people, get your heads out of the clouds or wherever you are and realize this already. Not everyone has the same opportunities that some do. Wouldn't it just be better to hire someone with no experience now then one who is still learning about it, or even no one wanting to learn it at all? I mean I can understand jobs like being a doctor or a psychologist or a judge. But jobs like a receptionist or a hotel cleaner? Come on.
I'd say more on this, but I wouldn't know how to write it down. I'm a little new at this blogging thing. I'm more good at writing poems or imaginative stories. I shall get better though, just you all wait! :D
I will write more later on. For now (in the words of one of the greatest teachers ever), Be good kids (or adult if you are one), don't drink and drive, love your parents and never tell a lie!

Update
Hey! Long time no see! Thought I would give you an update on my life.
I found love last year in March. His name is Patrick. I have known him since my freshman year in high school, but we were nothing more than friends. We dated for three months our sophomore year, however he was going to a different school at that time and the long distance wasn't working for us so, we parted.
We are back together now, and we see a lot more of each other than we did those three months. He's everything I could have wished for and more. He's kind and caring. He respects me and my wishes, he's loving and does everything he can for me. He's compassionate towards people and animals alike. He couldn't have a bigger heart. He's funny, a smart ass at times but he makes me smile even if i'm having a horrible day.
We've been together now for a year and 2 months and I couldn't be happier. He completes me and I hope I complete him.
In October 2012 I auditioned for Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure. I landed myself two parts. They were not very big parts as I only had to say one line each time, the line being "Are you Dr. Watson?". I was a Post boy in the very beginning of the play and a Swiss man, (which had me pronouncing "Watson" as "Vatson") towards the end. I not only was an actress for this play but I was also backstage crew, changing scenes and making sure people had what they needed in the right places. It was a lot of work, but fun. Sadly, it ended in January after many successful (besides the little hiccups) performances.
However the best part of it all was the new people I met and worked with.
I really have to thank them. This production was my first production outside of high school, so I didn't know anyone. However I was lucky in getting to work with the most amazing people. The Director was a joy to work with, always being patient and not snappy if things went wrong. The cast made me feel comfortable and included me in conversations, even if they had to come up with a topic I could discuss in. They were kind and funny and I enjoyed listening to their friendly little banters that they had.
I will always cherish the memories I have with them. They made my time fun and I learned a lot from them. Thank you Dan, Achilles, Tracy, Leslie, Paul, Damon, Jay, Dave, Bill, and to the crew. A special thank you to Suzanne.
Anyways, that's an update on my life, hopefully I can start keeping up with this blog.

College Trip
All right. So here's how it went down. I took the bus to the college. At first i thought I was going to be late because the thing started at 6:00 and it was already 6:30, but it turns out that they were running a bit behind. Anyways, I got there, checked in, recieved a shirt that said "Beacons" on it, since that is what they call themselves and we all sat down. Talked a little bit with people I did not know, which, might I add, is an accomplishment for me, since i'm mostly shy around people I don't know. After talking we said a prayer (since it's a christian college), and then had dinner. For dinner we had mexican food which was delicious.
After that I was taken to the dorm that I was going to stay overnight at. I was really nervous with this part because I didn't know who I would be staying with. I was nervous that they wouldn't like me and that there was nothing I could relate to them about. Well when we got to the door of the dorm, there were pictures of anime on the door. Pictures of an anime called "Ouran host club". I was so relieved. I had watched that anime and knew I would be able to relate to the girls I was staying with. Their names were Victoria and Stephanie. There was another girl there that was visiting and her name was Lauren. They were all pretty funny and kind of loud, but that was ok, I liked that about them. After getting to know each other,we went down for desert, cheesecake. It was also delcious. Next we went of to something they all like to call "friday beacon nights". This friday it was "Faculty Feud". It's like family feud, only it's teachers against students. It was really funny to watch. AND students won (of course XD)
After that was over,we went to 7-eleven, and then went back to the dorm, watched a movie and went to bed. Next morning I got up and went to breakfast. I can't really explain what the heck it was, but it was good. After that I went to a church sermon, a tour of the school and listened to a session on financial aids, and Q&A (I got a sticker out of that one). Then we took a class. I chose ethics out of the threee choices we had. In ethics we talked about Socrates among other things about it.
Then we had lunch with the faculty. We had rice and terryaki chicken. It was really really really delicious. I loved it. After that the whole college visit ended and I took the bus home. For going to the college, everyone who went to the tour got a $500 scholorship. AWESOME!!!! :D
Well, that's how my trip went. It was a good experience for me and I am glad I went.
Just as I side note, I hate taking the bus.

Sports
All right. So I was on FB the other day and one of my friends posted about having to take a class field trip to OSU. He asked "why there?". Someone replied about OSU being gross. I asked if they hated OSU b/c they were the beaver team. they pretty much said yes. This annoys me. It's not a trip for a sports purpose, it's for an educational purpose.
It really gets to me that when people choose a college, they choose it based off which one has the best team (I'm talking about people who aren't even playing in the sport). They should choose it for the major they want to get into For the possible future job they might have. I mean sports can be nice and stuff, but it's not going to help you with your future (unless you are actually in the sport).
So yeah, this is what has been on my mind recently. Other than this, I went to a college preview and stayed overnight and stuff. I'll talk about that later though. until then, enjoy your lives!

William Shakespeare
Ok, so I went on a fieldtrip with my class to Ashland to watch a play. The play is called "Measure for Measure". Most people call this one of Shakespeares "problem play". Why? Well, most of Shakespeares plays are either comedic or tragic. This play, however, can go into both categories. Which it goes into more, no one really knows, which is why it is a problem play.
Anyways, the play deals with the issues of mercy, justice, and truth and their relationship to pride and humility.
Now, here is the summary for those of you who have not read or watched Measure for Measure.
Depravity and sexual licence have become an issue in Vienna and the Duke Vincentio, who has decided to take a break from ruling, appoints Angelo to rule in his absence, assisted by a trusted councillor, Escalus. The first thing Angelo does is pronounce that he is going to enforce the immorality laws to try and stamp out the epidemic of 'loose' living.
A citizen, Claudio, has got his fiancée, Juliet, pregnant. He is tried and sentenced to death. His sister, Isabella, who lives in a convent, about to take her vows as a nun, hears the news. She hurries to Angelo to beg for mercy on behalf of her brother. Angelo denies her request but as she persists he is overwhelmed by lust for her and tells her he will think about it, and that she should return the next day to hear his verdict. She goes back the next day and he tells her that he will pardon her brother if she will have sex with him.
The Duke Vincentio, in the meantime, has not left Vienna but disguised himself as an itinerant friar and is moving about among the people to observe the effect of Angelo's rule. He tells Juliet to prepare for Claudio's death, assuring her that there is no way around it.
Isabella is horrified by Angelo's proposition and refuses. She visits Claudio in prison and tells him about it, making it clear that she will not subject herself to that, and that he will have to die. The Duke overhears their conversation and suggests a solution. He tells her that she should agree to it and he will arrange for Mariana, who has been jilted by Angelo because her dowry was lost at sea, to take Isabella's place and sleep with Angelo, who will not know it isn't Isabella in the dark.
Angelo is preparing to double-cross Isabella, however, and gives instructions for Claudio's execution. The Duke, still disguised, persuades the prison governor to execute a long-term prisoner, Barnadine, instead, and deliver his head to Angelo as demanded, claiming that it is Claudio's head. Barnadine refuses to agree so they decide to use the head of a prisoner who has just died.
Marianna fulfils her part of the bargain, sleeping with Angelo, who believes that she is Isabella. The next day the 'friar' tells Isabella that Angelo has deceived her and had Claudio executed. He also announces his return, as the Duke, to Vienna. Isabella and Marianna decide to go together to greet him and complain about what has happened.
The Duke arrives in Vienna with a big public display. Isabella begs for justice. The two women tell their story and Angelo is exposed in public. He is forced to marry Marianna. Claudio and Juliet are reunited.
The play ends with the Duke proposing to Isabella.
Pretty crazy right? Well, no matter how crazy it is, I highly suggest that you either read this book or go watch the play. The play my class went and saw, was really fun. It was set in the 1970's. There was a lot of latin culture in it. It was interesting to watch and it was awesomely fun.

Hi, there everyone. Sorry it's been a while since my last blog. I haven't really had anything to write about. But now I do. There has been so much going on, but I will write about it later. Right now, I will share a poem I made a little while ago. It's called Christmas Fire.
